After the last award for “Most Creative Horror Themed Music Video” and the participation in the soundtrack of the slasher movie My Little Sister with the track Horrorstoner, the beast that will destroy human race is ready to move its next steps.

The RELIC beast absorbs and incorporates genetic material of its victims, being influenced by a great variety of musical backgrounds in a unique style that scientists called Mutant Death Metal, a trademark for all its music production that mix Thrash Metal, Metalcore, Groove Metal, Alternative and Nu-Metal

The project starts in 2005 in Bologna, Italy, and reached the current line-up after a slow process of genetic mutations with veterans of the Italian metal scene: Marco Pazzini (aka “Lo Spezz“, also known for being the bass player of Tarchon Fist and Basic Dreams), Marco Zirondelli (“Ziro“, ex-Lacerater) on bass, Emilio Larocca Conte (aka “Il Conte“, head of the Art project Slow Wave Sleep and soundtrack composer) on guitars and backing vocals, Alberto Sensi (“Albi“, Glory & Broken Bones, ex-Shroud of a Mask, ex-Conspiracy) on guitars and Lorenzo Stupazzoni (aka “Stupa“, also member of The Shameless).

Official releases are a self-titled EP (October 2007) recorded by Luca Gomedi at High Distortion Level Studios, (available for streaming in the main platforms), and three videoclips for Liberty (2012) and the unreleased songs Gates of Utopia (2014) and Horrorstoner (2016).
